How Is TENCEL™ Made?

TENCEL™ is a wood-based cellulose fiber sustainably produced by Lenzing AG.

TENCEL™ Modal fibers come from Beechwood trees forest in Austria and neighboring countries sustainably harvested using only wood from forests that apply prevailing forestry legislation.

The wood is broken down into fragments and chips that can be turned into usable pulp.

The pulp is then treated with water and organic solvent to create a naturally soft and smooth fiber to the touch.

This process is done by machines powered by renewable energy using 100% of the wood and save up to 50% more water than a regular process.

How does TENCEL™ Impact the Environment?

Lenzing AG produces Modal with 60% less carbon emission.

The harvesting and manufacturing process is done following strict environmental guidelines, including a reduced amount of chemicals in spinning and dyeing with no toxic discharge produced.

Beech trees grow organically in nature and reproduce themselves without any human interference.

There is minimal environmental impact during the process as the fibers are biodegradable and compostable, allowing them to break down and revert to nature.

USDA Certified biobased product

TENCEL™ Modal fibers are produced from wood pulp from sustainably managed sources, a renewable resource. They have earned the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.

EU Ecolabel

TENCEL™ Modal fibers are certified with the internationally recognized EU Ecolabel; an environmental quality label only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle.

Biodegradable / Compostable

TENCEL™ Modal fiber has been certified by the Belgian certification company Vinçotte as biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil, and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature.

PEFC Certification

Is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization that promotes sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.

FSC Certification

The FSC certification is considered the "gold standard" designation for wood harvested from

forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and

economically viable.

OEKO-TEX® Certification

It supports human ecology through biocompatibility and the absence of harmful substances in the manufacturing process.

Should my Vulva Smell like Roses?

Every woman is concerned about how she smells "down" there...

We want to help women feel secure and confident about their fragrance even when conditions are adverse.

For this reason, we decided to incorporate IONIC+ into the panty liner of our fantastic undies.

IONIC+™ antimicrobial technology uses the natural powers of silver to provide life-long odor protection of this product

Combined with TransDRY® technology

to keep you cooler and dry faster, it unites the comfort of cotton with moisture-wicking performance.

How It Works:

When you incorporate micro amounts of silver (IONIC+™ technology) within threads used in the fabric weaving process, it creates a textile with a natural barrier to support hygiene and function.

Positively charged ions are released in the presence of moisture (such as sweat or vapor naturally emitted by the skin). This ionic action eliminates microbes on the surface of the product.

OEKO-TEX® Certified

At Eve’s Disclosure, we aim to give women a health-conscious panty with comfort and style while remaining friendly to the environment.

Like our dedication to designing women’s panties that are safe and healthy for the female body, we aim to create packaging and materials that help protect Mother Nature and preserve her beauty.

Panty Pouch

Our panty pouch is made from the same bio-based Tencel Modal fabric as our panties.

Tencel is a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees.

There is minimal environmental impact during the process as the fibers are biodegradable and compostable, allowing them to break down and revert to nature.

The hangtag and the card are both printed on premium 100% recycled paper using ethically chosen soy and vegetable-based, eliminating our use of petroleum-based alternative inks.

Producing recycled paper takes about 75% less water compared to producing virgin paper.

Creating a recycled product helps eliminate the amount of paper that ends up in landfills, emitting methane gasses into the atmosphere.

The choice of using soy ink reduces volatile organic compounds (VOC) in ink as some VOC levels can be harmful to humans and the environment.

Did you know approximately 80 Billion garments are made annually, and you know what they all have? A plastic fastener.

We are pleased to announce that our fasteners are 100% biodegradable, made from a blend of polypropylene material, and made to decompose within one year.

A regular plastic fastener takes anywhere from 20-30 years to break down completely.

Our fastener reduces the amount of single-use plastic being disposed of in landfills and helps eliminate harmful chemicals from entering Mother Earth’s precious soil.
